Why am I a Physical Therapist?
I am fascinated with the intricacy of the human body and how it functions. I love the challenge of being a physical therapist, and the field continues to change and evolve so there are always new techniques to learn and research to keep up on.  I am very blessed to build relationships with many different people and to be a part of their rehabilitation. It is very rewarding to help my patients return to and even exceed their prior level of function.  Being a physical therapist is a very satisfying and fulfilling profession and I am very thankful to be a part of it.

Continuing Education Commitment
I am currently progressing towards a Mulligan Practitioner Certification, which is a manual therapy technique out of New Zealand.  I also plan on getting an orthopaedic clinical specialist certification, as well as a functional manual therapy certification from the Institute of Physical Art. I rely firmly on evidence-based practice to guide my treatment, refine my skills, and to ensure both individualized and high-quality patient care. I am also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Personal Interests
In my spare time, my husband and I enjoy spending time in the mountains, skiing, camping, hiking, and playing frisbee golf. I have spent a huge part of my life in the pool, and am trying to get back into swimming after taking a break since college. I am also very involved in my church and my faith is the most important part of my life.

What patients are saying about Jennifer
“I have had back pain for over 10 years and received physical therapy treatment many times, but nobody has been able to relieve my back pain until you.”
