Why
am I a Physical Therapist?
I could not be more excited about being a physical therapist. It gives me the best opportunity to help people in a meaningful way, providing permanent solutions for physical impairments of the body. My motivation comes from seeing my clients succeed, return to their normal lives and be able to do the things they love. Professionally, my career as a physical therapist provides me with many challenges and stimulating changes.
Continuing education commitment:
I am dedicated to providing the best care possible for my patients by staying updated on current literature and physical therapy topics. I look forward to reading the most recent monthly publications of Physical Therapy Journal and Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy. I will continue to practice evidence-based medicine, utilizing interventions that have been proven effective through research. I want to serve as a resource in the health care community and obtain an advanced level of knowledge and skill by specializing. I have plans to complete a specialist certification in orthopedics and to pursue manual therapy certification.

Personal and Community Activities
I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the orthopedic section. My clinical practice background is in outpatient orthopedics, treating individuals of all ages, athletes and non-athletes. My most recent research looked at the relationship between the environment of health care facilities and positive patient health outcomes. I am active in my church as well as volunteering for community events such as the YMCA's Health Fair, Denver Rescue Mission's Thanksgiving meal and the 'Bumps and Bruises' injury clinic of Panorama Orthopedics.
Personal interests:
I devote my spare time to personal and professional development, golf, mountain biking, skiing, weight training and spending time with my spouse and family.
