| Why
am I a physical therapist?
I love the mystery of the human body. As a therapist I get
to take apart the puzzle and put it back together to solve
the mystery of the deviations. Unique skills and emphasis;
I am a certified Mulligan Practitioner which is a technique
out of New Zealand. This technique is pain free mobilization
while in an active and functional position. I have seen great
results in the spine and extremities with this technique.
Continuing education commitment:
I have taken year -long courses in manual therapy as well as Mulligan techniques.
My goal is to take two courses a year to continue the ongoing
learning process.
Professional and community activities:
I have been a member of the APTA Sports and Orthopedic sections as well as
was the V.P. of the San Diego Directors’ Forum in 1996.
I have been a Brownie leader for 4 years.
