Why am I a Physical Therapist?
I am a physical therapist because I enjoy helping others. Throughout my years I have been active in sports, and with sports come injuries. Injuries can affect you, both physically and emotionally, limiting your level of performance with recreation, occupation, and in simple everyday activities. I have experienced these injuries and appreciate the need to get back to a prior level of function as quickly as possible. During school, I took an interest in the sciences and mathematics and I have always enjoyed a challenge. Physical therapy gives me the opportunity to apply what I have learned about biomechanics and human anatomy to reach each of my patient’s individual goals.

Continuing Education Commitment
I love to learn and am always striving to improve myself as a healthcare provider. In healthcare, advances in treatment techniques and improvements in quality of care are constantly being made. It is important to stay on top of these changes in order to provide the best care possible to my patients. I have completed my certification in Manual Therapy and continue to take courses every year to stay updated on advances in rehabilitation techniques.
