S. Clayton Tangen's Biography

I enjoy helping patients to achieve their full potential and return to what they love most.
Why am I a Physical Therapist?
I became interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy while dancing professionally with a ballet company. I enjoy the personal interaction we have with patients. It is extremely rewarding to guide patients through the trying times of injury and help them achieve their goals. I enjoy working with dancers and athletes, as well as patients suffering from neurological disease.
Continuing Education Commitment
The field of medicine is constantly evolving. I enjoy participating in courses to advance my manual skills, treatment plans, and knowledge of human anatomy and pathology. A more diverse skill set allows for more individualized care.

Personal Interests
Outside of physical therapy, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young girls. Our hobbies include, field trailing, fishing, and all things Longhorn!
